The NTU Office of Admissions is seeking for an individual to join onboard as an Assistant Manager. Please note that this is a 2 years Contract position.

Job Description

• Coordinate with Schools to activate opening/closing of application period for applicants to apply online.

• Verify shortlisted applications for Master’s subsidized programs submitted by Schools.

• Set workflow and provide guidance for Schools to process admission of students for non-subsidized programs.

• Put up “special” applications for approval, that is, applicants applying for non-subsidized programs and did not meet admission requirements.

• Conduct matriculation to verify supporting documents for applicants who enroll for subsidized programs. Transfer data to active table and ensure data are accurate before freezing of statistics.

• Generate data for matriculated students who enroll for non-subsidized programs, send to Schools for verification and make amendments before freezing of statistics.

• Coordinate with Schools for suspension and termination of graduate coursework programs. Put up proposals to senior management for approval.

• Set timeline for Schools to submit proposal for fee revision for non-subsidized programs. Put up proposals to senior management for approval.

• Provide statistical reports for KPI data submission and Performance Review Forum periodically.

• Provide statistics to Office of International Affairs and Institutional Statistics Unit on ad-hoc basis, as and when they require student data.

Job Requirements

• Degree in any discipline

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferably in the education industry

• Has experience handling graduate admissions or operations

• Good with Systems and MS Office applications

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Desire traits will be being independent, critical thinker, self-motivated, fast learner and a good team player
