The Singapore location of WATG is hiring an Intermediate Planner.

A portfolio and CV is required for consideration.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Planner will collaborate with in house economists, planners, urban designers, architects, landscape architects or other professionals in a team environment to design, coordinate and present ideas relating to a variety of challenging regional planning, urban planning, resort and leisure and urban design projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in urban design or urban planning or related field required. Land planning experience of a minimum of 6 years including, graphic communication, land‐use planning and zoning, required. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch‐Up, MS Office, Freehand graphics assumed. Experience with GIS, Rhino, City Engine, Enscape, Lumion and/or other additional software required. Some international travel may be required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Provides design and production support for all phases of a project
• Provides support with the creation and development of initial urban planning strategies and concepts for a variety of project types and scale
• Assists with the creation and development of detail site planning / urban design concepts
• Creation and production of graphics in 2D and 3D for urban design and architectural visualization
• Interprets verbal and written directions from project leaders into professionally completed documents or products
• Completes working drawings, design sketches, presentation drawings, diagrams, schedules and other computer generated or hand drawn documents as required by the project
• Assists and mentors Junior Planners to learn and develop required skills
