About the role

The Import Supervisor reports to the Consolidation / LCL team based in one of our offices in Alps. This role contributes to the Operations and development of the consolidation container and LCL products of the Singapore hub.

What you will be doing

• Preparation and validation of import documents
• Liaison with warehouse for container unloading
• Communication with carriers, shipping lines and co-loaders
• Handling of IMDGR cargo and declaration with carriers, port terminals and CFS station
• Working closely with offices globally
• P&L responsibility
• Provide guidance to junior team members

The successful applicant

• Good knowledge of LCL consolidation containers
• Good understanding of process of transshipment cargo
• Good knowledge in handling IMDGR
• P&L management experience
• Experience in leading a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
• Customer focused
• Knowledge of CargoWise will be an advantage
