About the Opportunity

In this position, you will be managing a team of Account Managers in 4 markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong & Mainland China) and drive them to retain and grow FCM’s customers. This involves continuous evolution of strategic account management practices that are relevant to our customers’ travel & expense program objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy, here are your key responsibilities:

Manage Client Business Relationship

  • Be the FCM “owner” of the client business relationship across Asia and hold senior relationships with key flagship customers.
  • Ensure that the account management teams across Asia build and maintain strong relationships at all levels within client organization and work in conjunction with internal teams to deliver exceptional end-to-end programs
  • Effectively manage the customer feedback process (incl survey management)
  • Lead and support client re-tenders across Asia and upskill AMs to re-win business
  • Ensure FCM as a business use and maintain accurate Client database information via Salesforce (100% adoption)

Account Management

  • Develop and manage the “Five Cs” of strategic account management. Implement in Asia the KYC methodology (Know Your Customer).
  • Lead team to deliver detailed and effective Strategic Partnership Reviews that add value to our customers and grow incremental sales & revenue for FCM
  • Implement FCM suite of products/solutions (in particular, OBTs, expenses, payments, preferred products, duty of care, mobile apps, cievents, 4D Consulting, etc.)
  • Implement strategies for measurement of cost savings achievement against industry and contractual benchmarks
  • Use FCM reporting tools to monitor and measure client/FCM performance against agreed objectives through client reviews including;
  • As required, benchmark clients’ supplier arrangements against industry and other client specific best in class levels. Negotiate, recommend and implement new deals
  • Maximise FCM profit and identify opportunities for incremental revenue growth

Leadership

  • Lead the people of the account management function ensuring there is a suitable development program in place for all Account Managers
  • Implement a leadership development program for all Account Management Team Leaders and future leaders including exploration of new
  • Ensure there is a KPI driven incentive model in place for all AMs.
  • Ensure all the FCM communications systems are implemented across the Account Management teams across Asia

What we need from you:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience with extensive strategic account management or B2B sales experience, preferably in relevant industry
  • A great communicator in disseminating information to the entire Asia Account Management team.
  • Strong sense of business and commercial acumen to develop strategy that will aid in business growth and client retention
  • Develop and evaluate strategic option set in response to these changes contribute to FCM Asia strategy development
  • Ability to recognise different stakeholder groups and manage communication and involvement effectively within the Asia team as well as the wider FCM Global team
  • Live & breath the FCTG philosophies
