JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Founder & Managing Director (FMD), the General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall financial and business success of Naumi Hotel Singapore. The GM will also supervise the Hotel Services team to achieve operation and service excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensure Naumi Hotel Singapore meets and exceeds service and product quality goals by constantly monitoring results, evaluating, and re-designing processes, and implementing changes as needed to reflect it as the flagship hotel for the company.
• Plan, coordinate and execute the annual budget process for Naumi Hotel Singapore.
• Meet with owners to review monthly and quarterly operating performance, review and evaluate prepared business plans/ budgets to provide cost reduction and revenue enhancement guidance.
• Establish brand and operating standards, monitoring performance, and supervise the Hotel Services team to maximise and improve operating fundamentals and delivering service excellence.
• Keep abreast of new hospitality trends and development globally and is responsible to drive market awareness of our brand.
• Maintain high brand and operations standards by conducting hotel inspection/audits periodically.
• Responsible for driving and supervising the Sales & Reservations team to develop and implement the strategic and tactical sales plans and initiatives to include, but not limited to, interacting with customers, participating in solicitation efforts, securing business, preparing and presenting timely statistical and performance reports, etc.
• Responsible for the performance and development of direct report(s) and/or team with effective supervision, mentoring and coaching where applicable.
• Assist to oversee property’s renovation/refurbishment plans as assigned.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Degree in Business / Hospitality / Tourism or equivalent and/or with a minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior managerial appointment in the hospitality or related industry.
