Description Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:
  • Work with ITSM Leaders to constantly review, enforce and improve Incident and Problem management capability as well as the overall capabilities and effectiveness of our IT Support Team
  • Enforce the high priority (P1/P2) incident Management process, including working with the involved team(s) on proper RCA for each high priority incident and documenting them
  • Review, Monitor and report out on key IT Operational KPIs to stakeholders and using the data from these KPIs to work with Functional Teams to drive operational improvement in their area
  • Coordinate and/or project manage with regional ITSM managers on all global Operation initiatives.
  • Create and update visual management tools (e.g. dashboard, report, etc.) to manage daily Operations and Operations improvement projects
  • Create/document, review/improve, communicate and train team on operational policies, procedures and best practices across organization.
  • Audit and review on a regular basis to ensure good practices are being followed and adherence to SOPs
  • Manage and maintain a yearly budget for operations and review with Global IT Ops Manager on monthly basis
  • Work closely with the Global Service Desk (GSD) Project Lead to ensure that GSD deliver quality level-1 support to our associates
  • Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • At least 5 years experience in performing and/or managing IT Operations and Support
  • Good experience in project management and/or managing complex distributed global compute and storage environments.
  • Sound understanding (ideally with experience) in multiple areas of IT, such as in Applications, Infrastructure and ITSM support, and be able to consider the different aspects of IT Operations/Support in these areas
  • Familiar with technologies on Market that can help improve IT Operations
  • Experience leading an IT Team is preferred but not a must
  • Takes a detail oriented, methodical, logical approach to solutions
  • A focused individual that excels in a results-focused organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively globally and across the entire organization.
  • Expertise in ITIL or ITSM
  • Able to do basic scripting is a Plus
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal) in English
