About APAC Employee Engagement, Culture and Conduct (EECC)

The Global Employee Engagement, Culture & Conduct (EECC) organization within HR focuses on enhancing the employee experience and developing best in class people practices firm wide. The team will help set and implement a global vision, strategy, operating model to better understand and respond to employee needs and concerns; as well deliver exceptional employee experience. This includes partnership with the business, function, and HR leaders on an in-depth review of feedback, culture & conduct, employee experience aspects of regulatory-related deliverables. Overall, this organization will span the traditional HR lifecycle, employee engagement and broader listening strategy.

Under the APAC EECC is the Employee Relations (ER) team offering a standardized handling of cases for managers, employees and the HR community in the Asia Pacific region. This team will be responsible for ensuring consistent practices for employee relations case escalation, case investigation, case resolution and documentation using a central system of record.

Position Overview

As a member of the APAC EECC team, you will work in close partnership with HR Business Partners/Advisors to deliver exceptional advice and counsel to business leaders and HR colleagues regarding employee conduct issues and risk management across a number of subjects.

ER Case Management

  • advise on ER matters in APAC, including grievances, investigations, disciplinary action, performance monitoring and negotiated departures
  • handle sensitive and/or complex ER matters directly or in conjunction with members of the APAC ER Team. This includes investigation of such ER matters

Conduct Advisory Work and Enabling Projects
  • advise on regulatory responses on culture and conduct efforts
  • monitor conduct and performance cases for trending issues and sensitive matters to ensure appropriate awareness with key stakeholders.
  • conduct reporting and metrics, including developing charts, data insights and presentations for various HR clients and business leaders across the region
  • work with clients to address conduct issues identified through conduct reports and metrics
  • participate in or drive enabling projects for the APAC EECC team
  • participate in various risk and control initiatives
  • represent APAC on global harmonization efforts
  • work on ER/Conduct aspects of transactions/off-shoring/RFPs
  • other ad-hoc work as needed

Partner & Clients

Your key clients will include individual employees, HR Business Partners/Advisors and Business Managers; your partners will include HR, Legal, Compliance, Global Security Investigations and Audit.

Create a trusted and valued experience for internal clients/partners resulting in an enhanced employee experience & greater stakeholder satisfaction.

Drive EECC strategy with HR and Control Partners; incorporate feedback where appropriate.

Skills:


  • Excel, Business Objects and Qlikview experience preferred
  • Good analytical skills to identify issues and trends and an ability to absorb detailed information quickly.
  • Ability to understand the business implications of decisions
  • Ability to respond appropriately to sensitive inquiries or complaints
  • Ability to build effective business partnerships with clients and local stakeholders
  • Ability to manage difficult client situations
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with Employee Relations, HR Legal or Employment Law is required
  • Mimimum 12 years HR or HR Legal experience
  • Good knowledge of ER policies, practices and philosophy
  • Applicants who are immediately available to commence employment will be preferred
  • Certification from Singapore's Institute of Human Resource Professionals would be an advantage for this role
  • We're a global company whose primary business language is English and so fluency in English is required

This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 6 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.J.P.
