Job Responsibilities:

• As Assistant Director/Senior Manager (Digital Readiness and Learning), you will formulate, assess and review strategies, policies and programmes to build an inclusive society of lifelong learners that harnesses digital technologies to strengthen connections, enrich lives and prepare Singaporeans to thrive in a digital future.
• Drive, coordinate and review digital readiness (including access and literacy) policies, strategies and programmes for individuals and micro-enterprises across MCI, its agencies (i.e. the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), the National Library Board (NLB), and the Cyber Security Agency (CSA)) and across the Whole of Government (WOG), working closely with relevant ministries and agencies.
• Contribute to WOG agenda for lifelong learning through the review and formulation of policies, strategies and programmes related to libraries, archives and learning.
• Conduct research, environment scans and collaborate with academia and think tanks on studies to enhance understanding of international and local developments that impact digital readiness and lifelong learning efforts, so as to ensure currency of our efforts and ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
• Develop and maintain a good network of relationships across public, private and people sectors, and ensure an effective and meaningful way to engage, galvanise and bring onboard partners and volunteers to contribute to enhancing the quality, reach and impact of programmes.
• Help to plan, formulate and coordinate public communications approaches and campaigns to engage Singaporeans on how to be digitally ready and to be lifelong learners
• Provide secretariat work for steering committees and structures that will drive the above.

Job Requirements:

• Background in any relevant discipline
• Passionate and interested in the promotion of digital inclusion, digital literacy and lifelong learning
• Strong ability to analyse and think critically about complex issues
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and good stakeholder management skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Work experience in public sector or social services agencies would be advantageous
