The Digital Cities Solutions Marketing Lead role consists of two components: messaging and campaign management. He/She works as part of a global Technologies Marketing team in collaboration with Digital Cities initiative team, as well as across all of the Technologies family of businesses to strategize and activate a consistent cooperative vision, strategic points of view and persuasive messages with a focus on growing the business and demonstrating thought leadership with target audiences.
Collaborate with Digital Cities (DiCi) team and Technologies family of businesses (FOBs) to create a unified Technologies opinion and positioning story for the digital future of public-sector services.
Engage with internal and external subject matter experts to develop and evolve strategy, clarify messaging, story lines, and identify opportunities for thought-leadership content.
Consultant level Subject Matter Expertise (SME) understanding of marketing environment in which we are operating, including competitive positioning, messaging, customer/persona needs, buyer trends, account targeting, customers journeys (marketing execution tactics), market trends, analyst reporting, etc
Create the Technologies point of view (PoV) documents and presentations, Technology event messaging, and pan- enablement content and programs.
In concert with DT Campaign’s team, develop a Digital Cities’ and public-sector audience engagement strategy, and programs to reach C-Level IT (CIO, CDO, CTO, …) and public-sector Line-of-Business (LoB) stakeholders in need of technology in a customized approach, by using their language and business outcomes through working knowledge and expertise in Content Strategy, Content Development, Creative Development, Digital, Search, Social, Sales Plays, etc
Defining, documenting and driving the dynamic and agile top-level timelines for long-term campaign phases of a business outcome-based end to end DiCi campaign and supporting plans aligned to the GTM, segment, route to market, including sales customer journey integrated as part of the Connected CIO Campaign Plan based on review and insights to business results and or field plans (POR)/feedback and sharing best practices across the global regions.
Leading and driving cross-functional engagement across multiple marketing functions to ensure awareness of, and alignment to the campaign strategy as part of the Integrated Marketing Plan including;
Delivering executive level presentations, videos, etc., to communicate the strategy and results such as campaign progress and key milestones through internal and external executive communications
Excellent communication, writing, editing, critical, and creative problem-solving skills
Technical understanding of public-sector digital transformation concepts and their use cases
Technical understanding of DT’s DiCi solutions and framework as outlined by the DiCi solutions team.
Understanding of a customer’s point of view on the topics
Ability to present complex topics in simple, compelling, innovative and differentiated terms
Ability to combine multiple product and service messages to create fresh, compelling stories
Ability to negotiate and influence diverse cross-functional contributors at all levels inside and outside our FOBs
Strong analytical and research abilities with a constant curiosity for learning within a fast-paced, evolving environment
Competent knowledge of or experience in Digital Cities messaging, programs, marketing, and/or sales
Self-managed and motivated with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Ability to present topics to a live audience
Exposure to and/or experience in one of the associated technology fields/tracks
Digital infrastructures (e.g. connected buildings, manufacturing, etc.)
Internet of Things (IoT) or sensor-driven networks
Next Generation Wireless (5G, LTE)
