Your Future Position?
As an APAC Regional Marketing Manager (Functional & Nutritional Ingredients) based in Singapore, you will report to Head of Business Development (Functional & Nutritional Ingredients). You will be an integral part of the team managing the Functional and Nutritional products offering in close collaboration with the Global Marketing, Regional Category Managers and Local Marketing. You will build regional marketing capabilities, formulate category strategies, set customer value propositions and also includes:
Business needs definition and knowledge building
Integrate category and consumer insights with inputs from commercial, product manager and R&D to create a category strategy to grow the business’s share in focused categories
Identify growth opportunities for Functional and Nutritional Ingredient segments (Including supplements, H&W delivery formats such as gummies, powder, shots, chewable tablets and novel delivery format/category) by geography and customer in collaboration and agreement with Local Marketing.
Identify growth opportunities for Functional and Nutritional Ingredient segments by geography and customer in collaboration and agreement with Local Marketing.
Work with regional category managers to identify functional and nutritional opportunities
Develop knowledge of competitor products, communicate changes and recommend corrective responses
Gather and provide market justification and local market requirements to the Regional Product Managers.
Implement Regional Marketing plan and bring regional Marketing inflow to RI Category Managers, Local Marketing and Local Sales
Work with Global Functional & Nutritional Ingredients Marketing
Development Partner with the commercial and R&D teams to develop compelling ideas by integrating market trends insights with technical advancements
Collaborate to 5-year strategic plan
Work with CI team
Drive Commercialization of Products and Technologies
Drive the execution for each customer category strategy and marketing activities across the region. Progressively increase the maturity of the business’ marketing capabilities through the set up of a robust pipeline, processes and systems.
Support reactive and defensive regional projects
Build customer presentations and workshops. Build engagement with important customers
Positions Functional & Nutritional Ingredients technologies and capabilities to solve customer challenges and exploits changing consumer behaviours
Sponsor and support the commercial team for customer events in terms of the planning and execution of road shows, innovation days
Manage the launch of all new products and solutions, and monitor the performance of new products during the launch phase

Your professional profile includes:
Technical Bachelor's Degree (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Nutrition, or Food Technology)
Minimum 7 years of experience in the Food or Nutraceutical industry
Technical or Marketing and Commercial/Customer experience in an international environment is an advantage
Experience working with people from technical related backgrounds
Technical and commercial background and ability to develop deep product knowledge
Track record in project management, to influence and crystallize clear messages from complex sources and data
