The Role This role will be responsible for developing and building the talent acquisition function for Veeva APAC (Singapore, India, Australia and South Korea). You will be expected to build trusted partnerships with hiring managers and to understand the needs of the business and connect it to a talent hiring strategy that aligns with the Company’s hiring philosophy This is an exciting opportunity to evangelize the talent acquisition and recruiting function for the region and to execute on the recruiting process. This is a direct sourcing recruiting role and you will be expected to create candidate pipeline for the Company’s open requisitions.
What You'll Do
Partner with and support Hiring Managers so you are able to develop a deep understanding of their open roles and identify the best candidates to present to hiring manager.
Use various tools including postings, networking via peers, social media, attend job related events and direct contact to build a pipeline of candidates. You will be responsible for sourcing candidate pipeline for open requisitions.
Assist hiring managers with administrative tasks related to screening and interview process.
Maintain effective relationships with candidates through the recruiting process to ensure a high-quality candidate experience.
Track and report on overall talent attraction metrics, updates on applicant activity, escalation of issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
Manage external job postings.
Collaborate with the business on optimal approaches to strengthen/build talent pipeline and effectively forecast talent needs.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
5+ years of prior experience working in talent acquisition either in-house or agency capacity
Proven track record with related IT/Software industry experience.
Knowledge of key skills required for executing on recruiting process
An ability to understand the labor market(s) and recruitment market
Superior written and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize workload based on business needs
Experience in a fast-paced matrix environment and to think outside-the-square of standard recruitment process
Fluency in Korean and English
Legal right to work without employer sponsorship
Nice to Have
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
