SOFTWARE ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design efficient, maintainable, reliable software design and coding, use industry Agile standards to perform analysis, estimation, implementation, testing and deployment of applications. Good understanding of security, performance, scalability aspects.
• Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, testable and performant code, making use of appropriate design principles and patterns.
• Strong Computer Science knowledge in algorithms and data structures
• Analysing requirements, designing, and developing features
• Design and build reusable code / library and scalable APIs.
• Understanding and constantly optimizing our products, identifying and fixing problems, improving stability and user experience
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise. Own and support the software development life cycle including application development, implementation and maintenance.
• Work in autonomous, cross-functional Squads, taking ownership of development activities and knowledge sharing.

REQUIREMENTS

• MSc/BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related disciplines.
• 3 years of relevant experience in backend development
• Strong experience in back-end development.
• Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages.
• Knowledge in databases: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, architecture patternsMVC, ETL, SOA, Microservices, and software best practicesTDD, CI.
• Experience with TDD/BDD and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to details.
• Passion for high quality software design and engineering.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
