About our Client
Our client is a global third-party logistic firm looking for a software developer to join their technical team. They have wide distribution network and services extended to air and sea freight forwarding, customs brokerage and logistic operations.
About the Role: Software Developer (.NET)
Job Type: Permanent
You will be part of a technical team that performs system development using Microsoft technologies such as VB.Net. ASP.Net, C# and .Net. As a software developer, you will utilize your technical skills to manage the daily operation of the company information system for their group of global users in the freight and logistics industry.
Responsibilities

• Work with Internal Business user to define user requirement
• Design and build the user interface for new application software
• Design and build the report from data warehouse
• Design, develop, testing and implementing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
• Develop the application, server and database that make up the foundational structure of a website/ application software
• Prepare systems documentation, such as functional specifications and technical specifications
• Prepare and develop User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plan, coordinate and administer UAT and pilot runs applications software
• Be the key contact and work closely with system vendors and business users / leaders to resolve all system related issues

Requirements

• 1-5 years’ experience with good exposure in systems design, application development, web application development, SQL Server database design and development
• Strong proficiency in web application development using .Net Framework (C#, VB.NET, ASP.Net)
• Basic knowledge in Oracle DB & MS SQL, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, API

• Experienced in using reporting tools (Crystal Report, Microsoft Power BI)
• Proactive, eager to learn and resourceful in exploring new technology independently
• Results-oriented, team player with good problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and ensure delivery
• Experience in developing middleware for system integration
• Good communications and vendor management skills; proactive, problem-solving,
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
• Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science, Information System, or related discipline
