Overview:

The Payments and Consumer team is at the core of powering the payments network for different products at SP Group. The Payments and Consumer team is also responsible for the backend that controls the consumer apps experience for our iOS and Android apps and defining the key core components to build robust and scalable architecture for Consumer Apps. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about building scalable consumer facing products and to help our product teams, business and partners to iterate faster. A successful candidate in this role is self-driven, passionate and should be willing to execute consistently in an agile, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll DO:

• Development of the critical payments backend systems that powers different products at SP Group
• Development of backend systems that drive the iOS and Android consumer apps
• Delivery operations, release management, and integration testing of systems
• Work with all internal and external stakeholders for agile product delivery
• Proactive communication and status reporting both internally and externally
• Collaborate with SP staff and contractors

What You’ll DO:

• Possess a Degree in computer science and/or related discipline
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience coding APIs in Go/Java/Javascript
• Knowledge of distributed systems
• Experience in the field of software engineering, working with data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins
• Goowwd to have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Good to have experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Experience with relational databases like Postgres, MySQL etc.
