Through advanced business intelligence and analytics, we visualise our data and present insights to our customer, while ensuring the quality of our data is optimal as it is critical in achieving our mission. What You'll Do

In a gist, a member of the analytics team deep dives into the vast in-house database in conjunction with client’s data in the assigned categories, to design and deliver strategically actionable reports to answer client’s business objectives.

  • Go beyond the obvious, delve deep into understanding the data and validate hypothesis with supplementary secondary research wherever necessary.
  • Present strategically actionable insights, market trends and competitive analysis, to inform clients’ strategies in areas such as omni-channel sales and marketing, brand portfolio and channel management, product innovation, and new product development.
  • Synthesize findings into succinct stories and reports on what levers clients can pull to win.
  • Engage with clients by asking the right questions, to understand clients’ commercial objectives and gather requirements to be answered.
  • Train and coach users how to correctly derive actionable strategic insights from our data, to highlight the value-add of our fully customizable platform and our data sourced from proprietary algorithm.
  • Be the voice of the customer internally, translating clients’ needs into specific action steps for colleagues from other teams.

Cross-team collaboration:

  • With Business Intelligence: Convert the most value-adding reports into internal briefs for BI team to operationalize and automate into insight-driven visualisations and dashboards.
  • With Data Quality: Identify data quality issues and problems, quantify the impact, and translate into specific actions steps for data engineering teams.


  • Analytical when deep diving into data, and commercial savvy when drawing actionable conclusions.
  • Experience in ecommerce / FMCG (Must have one, ideally both).
  • Experience in consulting / market research / using analytics to drive business strategies.
  • Able to independently extract commercial insights from large datasets.
  • Able to use analytical and visualisation tools (e.g. Excel / Power BI) to analyse vast datasets
  • Confident to ask customers relevant questions and uncover business objectives and data needs.
  • Able to succinctly communicate findings and actionable insights in storytelling style to senior stakeholders in both conversations and formal presentations.
  • Able to manage concurrent projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Able to differentiate issues from trends, using understanding of FMCG / ecommerce.
  • Experience/education in statistics, economics or relevant fields is a plus.
