Roles & Responsibilities

To drive the long term growth of the Brand in APAC by creating the most relevant product strategy and story living experience for all the different consumers in the region (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, South East Asian, Australian..), whilst reinforcing our Brand image and equity, and creating the best balance between Global and Local Market strategies.


To develop, build and grow our Age Specific franchises: myClarins and Anti Aging (Double Serum, Multi Active, Extra Firming, Super Restorative, Nutri-Lumiere + key upcoming projects), and create long term 360 product and content strategy. As a senior member in the Marketing Team, he/she is also responsible for key strategic assignments that help showcase and communicate to our APAC consumers on our Brand, driven regionally by the team: Brand Communication, Always On Content, Digital Animation (Tmall, etc).


Franchise Strategy

With the Marketing Plan proposed by Global, design & implement the product strategy for APAC for current year and +5 years. Accompany, guide and challenge the countries in their product strategy, with the business objectives and long term strategy in mind. Guarantee the coherence within the Region, and with the Brand WW Strategy. Build a 360 product strategy accompanied by a relevant content strategy at each touchpoint to ensure key messages are delivered strategically to our consumers. Work closely with all Regional functions (Communication, Visual Merchandising, Digital CRM Ecommerce, Training) in order to give them the franchise/product and business expertise and work alongside with them on building their materials in support of the franchise/products. Key contributor to best practice sharing to Paris and Markets

Product Portfolio Management

Manage the portfolios and guide Regional and Local teams on orders and stock management, representative in S&OP meetings. Platform management and meetings to ensure information on launches and permanent references are well assimilated and maintained to reach business objectives. Support teams in all operational needs regarding the franchises. Work closely with Operations Manager APAC on trade animations, pricing, sampling, promotional strategies.

Future Product Development

Nourish Paris teams and actively participate in building the franchise from consumer insight, concept creation, and the development of product (from formula, packaging, claims, etc). With a deep knowledge of the consumers & trends, identify specific needs for Asia, not limited to products but also services, tools, and experiences. In constant contact with Markets product managers to gather their needs and proposal, and help them to construct the idea/concept. Work closely with the R&D Manager APAC to find new needs, but also new ways to express them


  • To accompany the Product Strategy, develop and deliver the most attractive, unique and relevant content strategy and key messages, and implement into the creation of all 360 assets (headline, copies, visuals, films, animations) and deploy the assets into the a coherent storytelling relevant for each touchpoint in the consumer journey
  • Work closely with the Communication team, Digital and CRM teams (Regional and Local) to understand their functions/landscapes, needs and learnings to nourish the Content Strategy. Guide, nourish and challenge markets on their content strategy and the relevancy in their local campaign concepts and messages. Developing relevant assets for the region, either leading the development here, consulting the Global teams on the development and production, or assisting and validating local market productions.
  • Special assignment on Brand Content that is strategic and a key priority towards building the Brand in Asia: our Digital content animations in, T Mall, other E-Retailer sites, Brand Communication, and Always On Content. These 3 assignments are crucial in the way we build our long term Brand Image, and it involves assets and storytelling creation and providing guidance to markets.
  • This part of the role involves heavily working with Global teams and accompanying Local teams


  • In order to become the most consumer centric Brand and to deliver the 2 key roles above, he/she must build the strategy based on Consumer Insights, Business Analysis and Competitor Analysis. This comes from data/sales analysis (which is crucial for this role), consumer researches, constant communication with markets to understand the consumer and market, in field experiences & BA communication, always on top and watch out of competitor activities, and have an eye for Trends
